WHERE HAVE WE COME FROM?
ICBI launched FundForum Asia in April 2007 on the strength of the flagship FundForum International conference, now in its 23rd year. The latter is the longest running and largest mutual fund event in Europe, with over 1000 global asset managers, distributors, analysts, advisors, academics and other leading experts participating each year. The Asian event attracted over 500 delegates in its first year, including some 200 fund buyers, creating quite a stir in the market. In the space of two years, FundForum Asia established itself as the largest & most prestigious investment management conference in the region. Then came the 2008 financial crisis and the finance industry had to re-build itself, despite this set back FundForum Asia has consistently seen attendance from a large and varied audience and consistently had roughly 500 attendees at every event.
The event attracts and Internatinal delegate base from over 30 different countries . Attendees include CEOs / CIOs /Fund Managers/Heads of Business Development/Heads of Marketing and other senior executives from the Fund Manufacturers, Multi-Managers, Fund of Funds, Retail & Private Banks, Insurance Companies, Fund Platforms, Investment Banks, Custodians, Transfer Agents, & their advisors.
